The water then begins a hydrolyic cycle and hydroelectricity is finally the end result. So Hydropower is a form of energy … a renewable resource. Hydropower provides concerning 96 percent of the renewable energy within the United States. Hydroelectric power has played an important role in the development of this Nation. It has created jobs, money, and opportunity within the electric power industry. Each little and giant hydroelectric power developments were instrumental in the early expansion of the electrical power industry.
